Mr. Funkhouser is a Co-Founder of LFI, has 36 years of experience, and works closely with LFI staff to assure that our technical expertise and resources are consistently leading-edge.

 

He has experience with RCRA, UST, and Voluntary Cleanup Programs and has worked on projects throughout the United States. For over 15 years, Mr. Funkhouser has been a leader in Brownfields projects and the use of risk assessment based Site Management Plans to facilitate property redevelopment.

He has been a guest lecturer on environmental issues at the University of Louisville, and has been an invited speaker at numerous environmental seminars and workshops sponsored by the US EPA, business, and legal associations.

He is a registered Professional Geologist in several states and has a Master’s Degree in Geology (Hydrogeology Specialization) from Indiana University.
