Mr. Leachman has over 29 years of consulting experience for government and private sector clients. He has managed and provided technical expertise for more than 200 environmental, brownfield and hazardous waste projects in Kentucky and the surrounding region. As a brownfield project manager, he has directed multi-faceted, multi-year private sector and US EPA brownfield grant projects ranging in value from $20,000 to nearly $2 million. During these assignments, he assembled, directed, and supervised project teams; established and tracked schedules and budgets; procured and directed subcontractors; reviewed work products; and maintained communications with clients. He has served as the project manager and team leader for multiple karst delineation projects including interaction with the US Department of Fish and Wildlife and Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), and private sector clients. His expertise also includes directing Phase II multimedia field samplings, acquisition assessments, and compliance evaluations.

Mr. Leachman has a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Western Kentucky University, is a registered Professional Geologist, and has conducted project work in several states.
