Senior Geologist
Robert A. Perkins, P.G., MBA
Mr. Perkins is a licensed professional geologist with more than 30 years of full-time relevant experience in environmental consulting. He has worked on many Brownfields projects for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Region IV. Two of the projects were awarded National Phoenix Awards for excellence in Brownfields site re-use. Mr. Perkins works with clients to properly execute USEPA projects. This experience includes participating in environmental site assessments including environmental analyses, investigations, and remediation that involves understanding and evaluating surface and subsurface environmental conditions and using professional judgment to develop opinions regarding releases of hazardous materials.
In addition to holding an MBA, Mr. Perkins has a Master’s degree in hydrogeology and a bachelor’s degree in geology. He is a member of the National Brownfields Association. He has served as the project manager for USEPA Brownfield grants for Louisville Metro, Buffalo Trace Area Development District, the City of Covington, the City of Frankfort and the Letcher County Conservation District.
