LFI folks seem to find themselves in Texas at least a few times a year. We don’t generally mind a trip to the Longhorn State due to the chance to find a good BBQ joint, and one LFI employee never passes up a chance to go anywhere in close proximity to a WHATABURGER restaurant.
This trip found LFI dodging a never-ending rainstorm in East Texas….but we found a great spot to eat at the Liberty Bell Bar in Nacogdoches, TX. Located along the brick lined streets in downtown Nacogdoches, the Liberty Bell Bar has great atmosphere with brick walls, plank wood floors, and a small stage for live music on the weekends. We recommend the pan-seared salmon filet which comes with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. We washed ours down with a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA (long name…good brew!)
